I am an award winning journalistic + lifestyle photographer from sunny South Bay, CA.
My passion for photography started in middle school when I picked up my first DSLR camera. From that moment on, I was set on finding a college that offered both great waves and a strong journalism program. That path led me to Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, where I studied journalism, multimedia production, and sociology.
I’m a firm believer in keeping things natural—drawn to golden light, meaningful personal touches, and distinctive details. I strive to capture the raw, authentic beauty of each person and place I photograph.

I grew up in Palos Verdes surfing and playing soccer :)
Then I decided to go as far away as I could on the map for college, and landed in the oldest city in America...St. Augustine, FL! I competed on the Flagler College Surf Team and studied photojournalism.
After college, I lived in Costa Rica for 1 year and worked for a local magazine, real estate companies all while conducting photojournalism work for the Pulitzer Center on Type 1 Diabetes in Rural Costa Rica. (you can view this work at the bottom of the page :) )
Does the entire map count? :)
I would have to say these are my top 5:
1. Barbados
2. Japan
3. Galapagos
4. Portugal
5. El Salvador
BOTH. I LOVE BOTH.
1. Surfing
2. Running on the beach
3. Spontaneous weekend trips
4. Watching the sunset after a fun surf session
5. Eating tacos
When I am not taking photos, you can most likely find me surfing, camping, running with my crazy Jack Russell, Otto, or hanging out with family and friends.
